...The object form for which we have such a good training is hugely important. We are connoisseurs of object, outline, and shape, and these can be politically powerful. But in my work, I am also trying to augment the powers of object form with active forms of different kinds—remote controls, multipliers and protocols composed of interdependent spatial variables.
